Book ownership is crucial for children and families. The Home Library Initiative delivers curated, culturally relevant book bundles directly to families, aiming to increase reading frequency and improve literacy outcomes, while strengthening identity.

We provide:

  • Age‑appropriate, identity‑affirming book sets

  • Family reading guides and literacy tips

  • Seasonal and thematic book bundles

Culturally Relevant Book Access

Students read more — and read more confidently — when they see themselves in the stories they encounter.

We provide:

  • Classroom library builds

  • Book distribution at community events

  • Curated books lists featuring Black, Brown, Indigenous and other underrepresented authors
